We(2 adults and three kids) stayed there for a night in our Sri Lanka trip. First of all the room they gave us had a water leak from the ceiling so immediately moved us to another floor. This was a twin room suite, room was spacious and overlooking the falls but there were hundreds of mosquitos and some of half the size of the hand. There was hardly any protection and burning the coil whole night was not an option. It took me more than an hour to kill most of them with bed sheets and towels etc.
Location was excellent and food was great too.

Room Tip: check out the room you are getting in advance.

I over the quiet sty had meals included in my stay. Enjoyed the scenic waterfalls and the sound of water. Stayed for two nights because I loved the nature... The sunrise and sunset. very little to do after sunset. For he adventurous here is a waterfall stream to swim..but no proper pathway. For nature lovers this is a beautiful three star hotel. You need to get into another vehicle provided by the hotel to get into the hotel as te hotel is right in the middle of mountain or hill..not sure. The only thing that was not very positive is the presence of monkeys that could get into the balconies. We kept our balconies closed. Usually they shy away from you when they see you. Well but that's what I liked.. Close to nature. The views are spectacular.however remember once you in the resort there is nothing else just enjoy nature.there is a restaurant in the hotel. I would return to this hotel if i go back. My wife is fearful of Mikey's but she enjoyed her stay. Breakfast and meals were fantastic.

Room Tip: We stayed in the first class suite. Close to the waterfalls and big balconies. But I guess you must book early with them.

We stayed in this hotel only for one night and its only worth for that. Before this hotel we stayed in Hotel Thilanka and Pelwhera village resort, so this accommodation is very poor when compared to those hotels

This hotel is having good view of waterfalls and I guess its only reason people stay here..our stay was just one night, dinner was just normal and no good taste. Rooms were very small and not so clean..

The view was excellent from our room 107, therefore go for it.

Room Tip: Room 107 for couples

The location is wonderful and the falls are a great backdrop to this hotel. It has recently undergone some extensive renovations and is clean, tidy and good value for money, an ideal stop en route to Nuwara Eilya

Room Tip: I marked the pool as 'excellent' - meant the waterfall pool, which you can bathe in. Try and get one of the new chalets if you can.

The view on the waterfalls and hillside is absolutely stunning! even from the room on the 2nd floor at the beginning of the corridor. there is a lovely pathway from the garden leading directly to the waterfall pool (bathing is possible but you have to be careful).
Our room was clean with only small pieces of mold in a bathroom, but our friends complained about mold a lot. guess you cannot avoid it with a climate like that. Hotel bar and restaurant are overpriced.
All in all, I think it is a good choice for a base-camp for visiting surounding of Nuwara Eliya
