Stayed at the SpringHill on a 1-night business trip. Booked through Hotels.com - reasonable price (<$90) for this area of Chicago. Hotel general area was OK - clean, quiet - standard Springhill-type hotel quality.
Room was quite spacious with a fine TV and comfortable bed. toiletries were good and the shower was hot, with strong pressure. My major qualm comes from a fairly noticeable (clump?) of hair on the bathroom floor - I didn't even bother to clean it during my 8-hour overnight work session, but it was not cleaned tremendously well. Would I take a romantic date to this hotel - no. Is it *perfectly acceptable* for business trips when you have a sub-$110 hotel budget, and need to stay in the Chicago area - YES. Breakfast, albeit overrun with kids, had a fairly good selection including Chobani greek yogurt (about $1.50 each at the store?)
Fine enough property. Also - no Marriott Points for booking through hotels.comMore
- Free Wifi
