Came here after an Elgin Symphony Orchestra concert (wonderful) and while the reservation list was long, they were able to get the 4 of us in right away. It did fill up quickly after.

Ambiance is nice and comfortable and the owners evident, circulating around the tables.

We tried a variety of items (noted that the prices shown online are very different from on the menu...needs to be updated) and all were good. One coupled loved the lasagna. My wife had Pappardelle Paradiso which she enjoyed, although a little light on the goat cheese sauce for her taste. I had the Misto Di Mare and the salmon especially was nicely done.

All in all, a very nice meal! Thanks!!

The food and service is great, prices are good, ambiance is wonderful and they always have different things going on, live singers, dancing, etc. The restaurant area is on the small side, but in a cozy, endearing way. The owner is friendly, personable and funny. I hear that the one in Geneva is amazing, with outdoor seating in gorgeous gardens, but I haven't had a chance to go to that one yet. Either way, the Elgin location is by far one of my favorite restaurants.

We love to utilize their dinner option for two. You get a bottle of wine, an appetizer to share (asparagus is awesome), an entree for each of you, and a dessert to share. It was $79 last time we went and so worth it. Attentive service without feeling suffocated and very friendly.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, its in Elgin, which means five people go here a night. The food and menu is reminiscent of a fantastic downtown Chicago Italian restaurant, and even rivals some Chicago restaurant's I've been to. The owner is straight from Italy and frequently serves customers himself, with all the passion of a classic Italian restaurateur. The only pasta made in house is the Gnocchi and I believe the pappardelle. Very diverse, very Italian wine and dinner menu, complete with the name of the dishes in Italian. The specials are typically very delicious and well formulated, and the waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. After hours a small dance floor opens up. If you live in Elgin, please eat here. This restaurant both needs and deserves your patronage.

Went to dinner with my husband. Started with Bacon wrapped asparagus in a cheese sauce- how can you go wrong with that! Pasta excellent, steak and chicken cooked to perfection. A great meal.
