We have stayed in this hotel several times and always enjoyed it. This weekend we stayed in the Mulberry Suite. This is a large room with an outside terrace overlooking the estuary. The view is an endless source of interest, restful scenes of changing tides, boats and a soft English mist to wake up to. There is excellent seating in the suite, arm chairs, sofa and good TV and good lighting.
The warm bathroom has a large walk in shower seperate from the bathtub, towelling robes and plenty of towels.A tea tray, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and fridge make life easy.We enjoyed a substantial buffet breakfast with fried eggs cooked to order in the sea view dining room.We did not have dinner as we were visiting a friend's house but noted that on Friday nights a fresh fish menu that sounds delicious is offered. Why bother with Claridges when there is the Roslin.More
