Palm fringed, slight surf, tropical paradise! A must see on Bequia and don't forget to visit the beautiful Sugar Reef Hotel right on the beach for a rum punch!

“Quiet beautiful spot”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

A taxi will take you out here for around EC$40 from port Elizabeth. The sandy beach is in front of coconut palms full of green coconuts ready to drink. the grass is kept short by wandering cattle. The beach is protected by a coral reef that can be reached by snorkelers. The unobtrusive hotel bar can be accessed for lunch and drinks after a good swim and the turtle sanctuary is only a 2 minute walk away. a great afternoon out.

“Sugar Reef Restaurant”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

A lovely restaurant on Industry Bay, it has just been refurbished, and is stunning inside. The food at lunchtime is very good and the young man who served us and worked the bar, was excellent. Loungers on the beach, and a glass of wine , what more can you ask!

“Quiet beach, beautiful view.”

This is a great beach for relaxing but the current is stronger than at the other few beaches on the island.

“Friendly Port”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

Although only a few hours to spend in port, this was a fun location. Lots of local shops with crafts and friendly people. Beautiful beach and spectacular views from the hills.
