Absolutely the best in the area! Menu items are fresh daily. The bread and spread are outstanding. The salads are so fresh and the dressings are made daily. The raspberry vinagerette is absolutely incredible!! Ordered the monk fish and scallops, both of which were perfectly prepared. The sweet Au gratin is incredible, as are the garlic mashed potatos. The view of the river is just okay, and the dropping of the sun shades around three only hamper the view even more. VETERANS - ask for a discount. First days meal was 50% off with the second days meal being 20% off. Guess it depends who the manager is on duty.

This is the best choice for seafood in 100 miles! The Midwest has little to offer for seafood but Jonah's outdoes the best anywhere. Oysters Rockefeller is fabulous!!! The raw bar stands alone-wonderful. The hardest part is selecting from the daily changing menu.

if it swims, it's on the menu. marvelous selection, attentive servers, lots and lots of choices...if you like seafood of any stripe, it's here and it will be cooked as you direct. This is a must every time I'm in Peoria and I've never been less than impressed with the menu selection and consistently high quality food. One suggestion: make a reservation or be prepared to wait.

The quality and freshness of the seafood is excellent, especially for this area. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The service is okay, which contributes to this restaurant being more comfortable/local than upscale. I like it and will continue to go there.

We were on a quick day trip to Peoria and were happy to travel to East Peoria to a visit to this restaurant. It is nestled next to the river, looking like a Cape Cod style restaurant with panoramic views of the river. We had three for lunch and did not try the oyster bar but plan to on the next trip. The portions are very generous and the food very satisfying and hot. The clam chowder(once warmed up) was very thick and tasty. Slightly limited entrees at lunch but the service is quick. The wine list is extensive and cannot wait to try at evening which we plan to return as close to the restaurant is a Stoney Hill Hotel which we have been equally pleased with. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full to try one! Next Time!
