We had to two wait staff members assigned to our table and they both did a great job. I thought the clam chowder and fried oysters were very good. My wife ordered the tilefish, which was light and tasty, but could have been alittle warmer.

Two sections of this restaurant. The raw bar and the main restaurant. I have visited only the raw bar portion recently. Great food, service.

Jonah's was a perfect choice for lunch and relaxation after holiday shopping. We sat by the window and had a nice view ( although not an ocean view LOL). The luncheon special $12.90 was a spicy chai THAI tuna burger that was served with perfectly crisp french fries and a choice of salad or creamy clam chowder. Chopped Ahi was blended with onion+tartar then spiced and grilled to perfection. It was served with grilled pineapple and Jack cheese on a homemade bun. The sweet Thai sauce served on the side for dipping was excellent. The desserts being served at nearby tables were tempting, but we were too full to sample them

The service was prompt and friendly. After the lunch crowd had thinned out, another server took time to tell us about the dinner menu which features several fresh catches, shrimp/scallops and more plus some items for landlubbers. We were impressed to know they use FRESH fish from a variety of sources on a daily basis and make their own breads and sauces.

Some of their specialties include: Bayou Jambalaya, Seven layer entree salad and that creamy Cape Cod style chowder. Desserts are made for sharing- dark chocolate cake/assorted cheesecakes/carrot cake/Key Lime pie and Bananas Foster. Full bar features a "nooner" Bloody Mary, Santa's Reserve Ale from Oregon, wine by the glass and bottle, all kinds of beers and some special cocktail concoctions. For more info check them out at www.jonahsseafood.com. I am sure you will have a great meal and a great time.

We have been coming to Jonah's for years and always have had wonderful service and food. Yesterday we stopped for a drink, appetizer and gift card. The waiter was definitely preoccupied. We selected the seafood flat bread, asking him what he thought. He said he would never order it and would pick another. We kept what we ordered. While waiting, another waiter was ask about the raw oysters. He replied that they were fishy and would not recommend a certain type. While schucking, he was obviously irritated, slamming plates, etc. Out flat bread arrived. I swear it had fake crab on it with shrimp. We finished up and tried to check out, only to have problems getting our gift card. Not sure we will be returning any time soon!

Definitely visit if you're in the area. Great seafood, well prepared and extensive menu's. Our waiter, Shawn, was excellent and an asset to the restaurant, his knowledge and service was beyond what we expected. Very fresh salads with a great cocktail menu too.
