If you are looking for a fabulous B&B and a fun experience you must stay at Fieldways. The atmosphere is delightful and the owner- Alan- couldn't be more more charming and helpful. The rooms are cozy, the breakfast is delicious and the house itself is magnificent. Its like a home away from home. This is my second visit there and for sure I will be back again. If you are anywhere in the area don't miss this bed and breakfast. Bourton-on-the-water is just a short ride away.

I decided beginning of October to take a trip to the Cotswolds with a friend of mine. On arrival in Bourton-on-the-water we went to the Tourist office and choe Fieldways. We occupied the Cream Room at Fieldways. Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night and loved it from the minute Alan greeted us, to the time we unfortunately had to leave. Alan made us feel most welcome and invited us to a BBQ, he held for friends in the evening. We ended up dancing and simply had the most wonderful time listening to his stories. All the rooms are absolutely magnificent and Alan's breakfast was very delicious.
The place is very animal friendly which was most welcome by us. The Cotswolds alone is a magnificent place to visit but Fieldways and in particular Alan made this weekend an unforgettable, joyful experience. Petra

We found FIELDWAYS on website in the library of Chester. We are Japanese so that it was difficult to read details quickly, but from the HP we were sure that FIELDWAYS was a wonderful guest house. We drove a long way from Chester and got to FIELDWAYS, but at first we couldn’t find the door bell and get into a house. That was also our good memory. After one hour Alan and his pets welcomed us very warmly. They are very friendly. Scorn and breakfast Alan made was amazing. Everywhere in his house was so pretty that we enjoyed taking pictures. Every morning Alan asked us where we wanted to go and told the way as drawing a map. His recommendation was all nice. Thanks to him, we enjoyed sightseeing in Cotswolds and relaxed in FIELDWAYS. We just stay FIELDWAYS for two nights, but we wanted stay more and talk a lot with Alan. Thank you, Alan. When we’ll visit the UK next, we hope to go back to FIELDWAYS and see you & your pets again.

On the spur of the moment we decided to head towards the Cotswold's, no where planned to stay or any idea. On arrival we used the local Tourist Information who came up with a couple of places, thankfully we chose Fieldways. To quote from the web site which I found on return

"Alan Graham‘s aim is to ensure that guests have a truly memorable visit enjoying British hospitality at its best. Every care is taken to ensure your stay here is an unforgettable experience."

He did just that our stay although short was absolutely fantastic, we wanted for nothing , pleasant and peaceful surroundings were the order of the day. The house that Alan runs makes you feel welcome and at home immediately you walk through the door. The breakfast served is fit for a king with plenty of choice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with an excellent on-suite. For those who wish to stay in touch wireless internet is provided. Pets are welcome and encouraged that said for those that are worried it may be full of doggy type smells it is not, the house is exceptionally clean and well looked after.

A great place to stay, thank you Alan

Fieldways is a beautifully kept large house in it's own grounds and we were welcomed in a very warm manner by it's charming owner Mr Alan Graham. Alan was very accomodating and in my view was by far the best host that i have come across in my wealth of experience in travelling around the U.K. and abroad.I would recommend this experience to anyone who plans on visiting the area and both myself and my partner will be returning to visit Alan again shortly to enjoy another very pleasurable stay at his home. 5 star accomodation with 5 star kindness and consideration by the host. Well done Alan!

It was luck that my friend and I booked a night at Fieldways and we couldn't have hoped for better. We've stayed at quite a few B&Bs in the Cotswolds, but this one was the best. It is a beautiful house in a wonderful location with a garden that cries out to be relaxed in. Alan was so welcoming and made us feel completely at home. It was very comfortable, especially the beds and top-quality bedding, and there were electric blankets too for those chilly nights. The cats were delightful and the dog Flora happily came for a walk with us. Apart from the extensive breakfast, Alan gave us tea upon arrival, wine before dining out, and there would have been late-night pavlova if we hadn't stayed out so late at the Hollow Bottom pub he recommended for our dinner! It is a lovely, interesting place to stay.
