I stayed at Bali Diamond Villas for the last day of my trip so that I can relax and enjoy the luxury and the view.
But I was disappointed with the services and the management skills of staff.
Pros:
1. The view is great and so is the decor.
2. Pool was clean and quite big.
3. Clean rooms.
4. kitchen is well equipped to even host a party. (Bring your own food/material)
5. Beautiful beech
Cons:
1. FOOD was so below average and the location is a bit far from the market place, only thing I was able to finish was the fruit juice. Since the nearest market area was not so approachable by walking I was starving most of the times, It seemed like the they don't have any on site chef available. Menu was so small that we tasted everything and hated it as well. IF I WANTED TO EAT FROZEN FOOD I WOULD HAVE COOKED SOMETHING BETTER THEN WHAT YOOU OFFERED. The villas are so nicely built but with the secluded location and bad food I somehow felt trapped rather then relaxed.
I would like to suggest the future guests that they should buy some instant food on their way to the villas and enjoy the view and the pool.
2. No doorbell at the villa so the staff just entered unannounced sometimes, that was a bit uncomfortable for me.
I would recommend the management that a door bell will be a great addition to the villa and privacy of guests.
3. The villa I stayed at was not really prepared before head, The coffee mugs, cutlery and some basic stuff in the kitchen was not clean at all. Since the rest of the villa was so clean that seemed like a missed spot.
The mattress for sun loungers were oddly left at the entrance of villas. It was not only strange to look at when you enter the villa as there are 5-6 mattress lying just in front of the door( that is the first thing I saw when I entered the villa) but I was confused if the staff wanted me to arrange those mattresses by myself or were they not expecting us to sit there. It was unprofessional.
4. The staff need some training, all the staff is very nice and even with language barrier they were trying their best to help us whenever required. But still some professional training is required.
Message to the hotel: I hope you take my review in consideration and make some changes. I would love to come back and enjoy the view if nothing else.
