“Small Town Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

I know all my reviews have been all over the place but i definilty have to finally review the resturant in the small town of dwight where i live. Station 343 is a brand new resturant in dwight and its becoming well known for deliciious steaks and great theme and layout inside. Im very good friends with the owners and many of the employees (small town and all) and I am giving my honest to god review with no holding back. I have eaten at this place only once so far in the month its been open and i have gone in many nights for drinks with some friends. SO below like always is my categorized review so that you know exactly what your getting into. Please comment if you like and let me know if my review was helpful or not. Again this review is entirely from my experience and everyone has there own experiences so see if for yourself and see if you like it.
Curbside Appeal- EXCELLENT EXCELLENT. Old building completely gutted and redone and it looks brand new. The red lit up glass looks awesome on the outside definlty. ANd music playing too.

Environment (Inside)- Obviously by the name you already know the theme of the place. All around the resturant there lies firefighter stuff everywhere. My 2 favorites is the full size old school firetruck mounted on the wall and the neon green shattered glass divider really adds some great color to the place. Very clean and very tidy. Spotless!!!!!!!!

Staff- Very very friendly staff. Always made sure my drink was full and that i was enjoying my food.

Appetizers- OMG WHERE DO I BEGIN. LOL. The chili bowl is to die for. Homemade and the portion is very big and very tasty. No little cup of chili. They give you a big bowl full of it with cornbread in the center. But definitly most of these appetizers have big portions so your sure to be full by the end of the night.

Main Entrees- I have only eaten once at 343. I got the Chile-Lime Deep Fried Shrimp. The taste was beyond good. Very sharp taste of the Lime but the deep fried breading compliments the taste very well. And the shrimp were huge to by the way. Definlty the biggest shrimp i have ever eaten at this point. But again i live in Dwight and my friends have all said they love the steaks here.

Deserts- By far my favorite part about this resturant! I tried the snickers cheesecake and wow it was mouth watering good. It truly tasted like a snicker bar on top of cheescake. Eat this with a great red wine and wow perfection. Im definlty going to try the regular cheescake next time.

Drinks- They have anything ranging from your standard domestic beers and some imported, mixed drinks such as rums, whiskeys, burbons, liqueors, and everyones favorite.....wine. Wines ranging from Dry wine, to sweet wine. Cheaper wine for the some, and top notch for some of the others. I think though they truly mastered the martinis. My favorite is orange delight!

Bar- Very very nice bartenders. Bar is very clean and tidy and the options available are very well displayed. Great place sit and socialize with friends and watch the football game. Martinis are there specialty. And you may eat at the bar as well is very nice if your in by yourself.

Overall review: I love this resturant. For a small town this resturant is def a place you would see in chicago. The atmosphere is very classy and the only dresscode they push is no torn shirts (country folk like the sleevelesss torn look lol) But majority of the crowd that goes dresses casual. Blue jeans, nice shoes, night collored button up for the guys is what i have been seeing, and the ladies ive seen usually jeans, nice shirt. But i enjoy wearing something very nice because this place has class! Your gonna pay more then the average resturant but the quality of the food, the service, and the drinks, its well worth the little extra. Please try this place for yourself and you will be delighted at what this small town resturant has to offer. Great for families, friends, young, middle, old it dont matter which you are. For the wine drinkers its hard to find anyplace is small towns in the middle of illinois to have great wine but this place has both the cheaper brands of wine and also the more expensive brands of wine as well.

Thank you everyone for reading my review. I hope i was helpful. I will definlty add pics in the next day or two.

“By far the best dining experience in Dwight.”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

Great value, both our dishes were great, salad was very good, only complaint was that I ordered my burger med-rare and it came out done, but the presentation and amount of food was excellent. The restaurant is clean, and refreshing, a modern take on old school. Drinks were strong enough very good too; martinis seem to be they're thing.

“First Rate Steak House in little ol' Dwight, Illinois”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Excellent food. Steaks are great! And so is the service. This restaurant is new. Just opened in the last month or so and the food is fantastic! Try the calamari and the bone in ribeye is terrific. Especially with the garlic butter topping.

“Great new restaurant in Dwight, IL at 140 E. Main St.”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

A must see new restaurant in Dwight, IL . Hours are 4:30 PM to 9 PM Tuesday thru Sunday.
If you are traveling on Interstate 55, Old Rt. 66 or Rt. 47 thru Dwight, IL don’t miss this great restaurant located downtown Dwight. The décor is very fun with the Fire Station as the theme. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The food is awesome. I loved the Seafood Risotto with lobster, shrimp, spinach and fresh mushrooms. You get a nice salad and a choice of sides. I especially like the asparagus and fresh vegetables. We will definitely go back to try more items on the menu.
