Went here for drinks and a sandwich. I have been to their other location and like that as well. This one however had a nice outdoor area that depicted the facade of an Irish town, very nicely done. Good beer, good fries with my club. Overall a nice night out with friends..

We came before our show for dinner and were not disappointed. Our food was delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed. It's in downtown Aurora, which is beautiful and close to home!

We had the Scotch Eggs as an appetizer...then I had the Shepard's Pie and my wife had Fish & Chips. The fare was good, but the service a tad slow considering there were few people in the restaurant or on the patio.

This restaurant/pub has been in downtown Downers Grove for several years. When we finally decided to venture in, we had a real eye opening experience. Not a good one, either. An early evening/late afternoon Sunday ....tables unoccupied, no crowds. A family of approx. 6 members with two elderly folks, were standing/standing in the hot sun, awaiting assistance for a table. No one came out to the cafe area to help any of them. Finally, a family member himself found a shaded table, cleared it himself, went to retrieve menus, and eventually brought his family over to sit. (Heartbreaking to see the little Seniors leaning against chairs trying to shade themselves while being totally ignored). Finally, my own group of four basically did the same. That was OK for us, as we could handle it. We were surprised that we were never addressed...but OK, perhaps staff did not show up(??) Finally, a wait staff person approaches us, throws down their table rag, and asks what we want to drink; very "irked", face wrinkled & angry = a surreal scenario. What gives, Ballydoyle??? This was not your very late night, heavy drinking customer(s)??? No one in the cafe warranted such behaviour......why bother to be open on Sundays, if wait staff is tired and confrontational?!?! WHEW! Shocking.
