“Try the Bar on Half Price Nights”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012 via mobile

We didn't want a heavy meal after the Holidays so we opted for the Bar and it's small plate menu. Turns out it was a half price weeknight (5-7 pm) so we ordered several and shared. Everything was delicious. Try their take on Fish and Chips. Beer selection was good too. We will come back when in town again.

“Lobster Rolls Just Like New England”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

Born and raised in Connecticut, I've missed the lobster rolls - I felt back home this evening - enjoyed the lobster roll, cole slaw, and french fries. My dinner partner had the lobster mac and cheese; and it was delicious as well. I started the dinner with the beet salad - the goat cheese and honey was out of this world! We ended the meal with a cheese plate that was beautiful and tasty. The decor is comfortable with hard wood floor accents to match the chairs; nicely done. Open kitchen and a fish theme. The hostess was extremely friendly, and our waiter was professional, nice and very attentive. There is plenty of parking with easy entry and exit to the freeway. A fun restaurant for a date, business or family and friends.

“The best seafood in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2012

This is my favorite seafood restaurant in the area. They have cheaper lunch menu on weekdays, too. Their boullabaise is to die for. Their complimentary bread is fresh, kids always finish it and ask for refill. Their kids menu is a plus. My daughter loves her pasta dish. Always make reservations because it can be busy even on a weekday.

“Great Seafood Place in the Suburbs”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2012

We have been looking for a nice seafood restaurant in the Chicago Western Suburbs since our favorite place closed a year ago. We were very pleased with everything about Parkers. They have a nice selection of entrees as well as many "small plates." My wife ordered the SwordFish special. I couldn't decide and so opted for four different small plates to make one meal. The shrimp cocktail was particularly good: very large, the right firmness and great flavor. The beet salad has probably the strangest presentation I have ever seen, but is very good. We only had room for one dessert, but we plan to go back to try the rest. I also liked that we could have a nice conversation without being drowned out by noise or music. Very enjoyable date place.

“Large portions, great wait staff, good food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

Happened to go to Parker's because it lies between where we live in the SW burbs and where daughter and son in law live in W burbs. Easy to get to, close to freeway access. Special seasonal cocktail was delicious. Mussels were super fresh and the lemon cucumber dipping sauce was wonderful. Nice fresh beet and arugula salad. All of our portions were very large. Cool presentation of whitefish Wellington, have never seen that before. Recommended for seafood!
