“Not enough options”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

I've eaten at these on Maui and Oahu, and they have limited options. Such as cheese choices. Did they not have pickles? It was something weird. And onions must be very expensive, because extra onions was three rings (not slices). Fries cold. Meat grey.

“Very Good Burger”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

Love the casual atmosphere! The restaurant is a fun place to be and is very lively!
Ordered the gluten free stuffed potato chips and they were delicious! Also had a cheeseburger and fries which were also gluten free! They were both awesome and cooked and served properly!
Other members of our party ordered other burgers and one ordered the salmon and everyone was very happy with their food!
Good Pina Colada too!

Stopped w/ relatives weekend of NASCAR races. Was very impressed with taste of cheeseburger I ordered - delicious. Fries were good. Prices on par for quality of food.

“What's Caribbean for "Meh"?”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

My husband, 7 year old son, and I went here last week-end for the first time. The first impression was favorable. The restaurant is laid out as one big open area with a cabana type bar in the middle and what looks like a stage area on the far side. Several big screen TV’s were hanging everywhere, showing sports and music videos. The sound was turned off on the sports but the music corresponding to the island themed videos played throughout the restaurant. We were seated in a booth which unfortunately had one of those speakers right at head level. The experience went downhill from there.

I ordered the Island Quesadilla with a side salad, husband got the Jerk Chicken Wrap, and son devoured the Kraft Mac & Cheese. Everything was just…meh. The red pepper in my quesadilla overpowered the otherwise adequate cheese and mushrooms, and I failed to taste the alleged balsamic in the onions. The jerk chicken was adequate but lacking in flavor. Everything was just OK, neither spectacular nor horrible. My biggest complaint was the noise from the speaker which made conversation difficult.

Will I go back again? No, there are plenty of mediocre chain restaurants where I can eat and get it over with nearby, so I doubt this will get a second bite. If you are a Buffet fan or like mildly flavored island food go ahead and give it a try.

“great burger”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

very good service and food is great. Good place to go and have some fun, not for the person trying to have a quiet dinner. there is music and they had the doors open out to the patio. reminds me of a Jimmy Buffet place to eat, nothing fancy.
