Stayed here for two nights on a combined business/pleasure trip. The proximity to the airport and train stations was a real plus, as was the free breakfast. (Breakfast itself wasn't remarkable -- but it was certainly good enough.) Free wifi in the room was really great as well. (Too bad not every hotel has figured out that charging for internet really annoys people!)

Rooms were clean and sort of updated -- for example, the bathroom fixtures were phenomenal, but the wood around the door frames showed obvious wear. Not a problem as far as comfort, cleanliness or safety are concerned -- just a little unusual.

I had a room near the elevator and lobby and expected some noise -- there was none at all, and that along with very comfortable beds made for a good night's sleep twice in a row (almost unheard of for me in a hotel).

If you can get a good rate here, and if you're not looking for anything fancy, definitely give this hotel a shot.

We chose this for one reason only -- Sleep and Fly at O'Hare. The trip to ORD was okay but the return was a disaster: repeated false claims "he'll be there in 2 minutes," then 25 minutes and no one was there. Finally they put us on a shuttle for a different hotel that was kind enough to drop us back at our car.

If you just need to be in Des Plaines, there's nothing particularly wrong with this hotel. But for the airport, avoid the hassles.

We recently utilized this hotel for their Park N Fly option while traveling for vacation.

The staff was VERY helpful, pleasant and accomodating, both when flying out and returning to the hotel. The shuttle was punctual and the hotel provides excellent info for shuttle pick-up at O'Hare airport.

We were concerned when arriving at the hotel late at night as we were given a 1st floor room, but we did not hear any noise from the other rooms, hallway or outside. The room appeared to be partially updated. It was clean and comfortable.

We would stay at this hotel again.

Friendly and helpful staff
quiet room, slept without waking up (I stayed in room 163 on the first floor), from 4.30 a.m. until 11.45 a.m. (I arrived late)
Felt safe, and at home, because it is not a big hotel

The hotel was fantastic as was the staff. The location is great because it is close to the airport and the train. They even have a free shuttle to the airport.

My College took 40 students on a trip to Chicago and I was worried about the hotel because I booked it sight unseen. The rooms were clean and the breakfast yummy. We will use this hotel again for our next trip to Chicago.

Tiffany's restaurant (next to the Hotel) has really good food!
