Room had hole I'm the bathroom wall. Wall paper missing on the wall also bed had a stain. I said that i was staying with 2 and only out one towel in the whole room.

Hotel was adequate, seemed to be a lot of hallway noise. Evening clerk was very helpful when asked if we could get a late check out, was told it would not be a problem. The next morning the clerk was rather rude and said it was not possible. Our room was called to be sure that we were checking out on time.

Stayed here last year. Gave it 3 stars. So, stayed here again. This time for a NIU football game. Good location for either NIU Foootball or basketball.
Let' see if I can remember all of the things NOT in the room. No clock, no phone; No Central Lighting in the Bed Room; No Table lamps on the end tables; No Cups or Coffee; Bathroom light burned out. Clerk's body language didn't show particular concern about the things missing. She brought a lamp and all of 2 paper cups. Did Fix the Bathroom Light, which I thought was going out of her way. This time the Buffet did have some small donuts which were quite tasty. I would recommend that a vsitor try other options for a motel within walking distance of Husky Stadium.

Lady at front desk was kind. Upon checking into room we found it was not clean at all. Bed was made but clearly sheets were never changed, hair and large stains very clearly visible. large crumbs on tables and floor. Hair in bathtub. also found a pubic hair in foam coffee cup in the room. Brought this all to attention of lady at front desk who clearly was very frustrated and very apologetic. She told us there was no house keeping on staff at this time but offered us fresh linens for bed and a vacuum cleaner, she too was clearly disgusted when I showed her the coffee cup with what we all agreed looked like pubic hair in it. She offered to discount room since no others were available.

The linens we were given were no cleaner looking than what was on bed already, it was late and we decided to go to the Target store just down the road and purchased a complete bedding set as well as disinfectant wipes just before they closed. There were two other people at desk with same problem when we returned to hotel.

We attempted to find another hotel and made a dozen calls but everything was booked due to large convention we were attending. We made the best out of a very disgusting situation. In the morning I asked to speak to the manager or owner and the owner came out to front desk to speak with me, I told him of all the concerns and issues we encountered and he had a very poor attitude and just very nonchalantly apologized and mention that they had just taken over this property and were short staffed, I showed him the coffee cup with the apparent pubic hair in it and he just looked at it and said again sorry about that what would you like me to do , do you want another cup, his poor customer service and attitude were unacceptable and I told him this at which time he said your stay has already been discounted 50% what more do you want, I am sorry we are doing the best we can with limited staff.

At this point I let him know that this was the most horrible experience we have ever had of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed at all over the world and we would be sure and let everyone know to avoid this location. I told him these conditions may be fine to you and totally acceptable in your country but are not in this country and he will be out of business soon unless he changes his attitude and standards.

This location also offered continental breakfast by the lobby, we refused to eat here due to our fear of its cleanliness also. However while waiting in lobby for friends to join us for breakfast outside of the hotel I observed the owner complaining and telling staff to stop filling the breakfast items and he said these people are eating too much , its costing me money. One young man attempted to refill the milk and cereal containers and was stopped by the owner who again said NO MORE, THESE PEOPLE ARE EATING TOO MUCH, THIS COST ME MONEY.

Also a woman came to the front desk and asked for towels, the owner asked her how many, she replied 4, and he told her you only get two, what happened to the towels in your room? She explained that they had been used by her children at the pool, he told her you only get two more towels, hang them up to dry.

This man is rude and has no business being in the hospitality industry.

over all hotel in great location, was close to reception...room was ok, bathroom was main issue, they did come and change shower curtain, after i went to front desk and told them about it.dont think room had been checked in a long time...they charged WAY to much for what the room was worth...

the hotel room was disgustingly dirty: dead and alive bugs; dirt on floor; hair clogging bathtub drainl; coffee holder dirty and without any coffee or cups.

The shower curtain had mold on it, the soap dispenser had mold in the caulking around it, the caulking around the sink was falling off and there was a musty smell in the room.
The motel rooms have not been updated in a while and need work. The rest of the motel including the outside and parking lot looked like I expected from a Baymont. Good.
