I feel bad for only giving this place 3 stars because overall it was a very nice place to stay, breakfast was fantastic and we were upgraded us to the bigger room at no extra charge (due to a problem with the Garden room shower) which was a lovely surprise as the Granary room was fab.
However, there were a few areas that marred what was otherwise a great 3 days.
It was quite cold in the room & the heating was on a timer which we couldnt over ride without asking. It was also very chilly in the dining area in the mornings which is a bit off putting on a cold, foggy november morning. The shower could've done with being somewhat more powerful and the hospitality tray was lovely on arrival but was not replenished during the 3 days we stayed (except for the milk flask which smelt vaguely off on one occasion).
Aside from these points the hosts were very welcoming, the dog Tottie was gorgeous & the room and breakfast were otherwise of a very high standard.More
