“Love this place!”

We love Dukes! Most of the food is local and organic or natural. Bison burgers are yummy. Love the sweet potato fries. Vegetarian Monday's are a pleasure. The beer here is always good too and sitting outside in the summer is so relaxing. They even have free fruits and veggie classes for the kids 2 times a month. Great place!

My expectations were blown away. Friendly service, excellent food, interesting beers, good atmosphere and reasonable. Can't think of anything that could have improved our dinner experience!

“Awesome food and beer selection!”
Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

Love this place! The menu is ever changing and unique from sandwich combinations with fresh ingredients to fried corn dog appetizer. The beer selection is huge! Come early or be prepared to wait as the dining room is on the small side. The staff is outstanding.

“okay and high priced”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

First time a Dukes because it was recommended by a friend. My wife had a chicken breast on a pretzel roll and sweet potato fries. I had a fancy named pot roast on a large bun. Little meat but lots of bun.
Atmosphere very noisy even at 3 pm in the afternoon.
Sandwiches priced at 12 and 13 dollars respectively. Best part was the French fries.

“Excellent food and beers”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

Super wide variety of beers and a really interesting menu. One of the few place in McHenry Co. to get home made and good tasting vegetarian dishes. The restaurant prides itself on using local fresh produce and having a very large selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Weekends can be noisy and crowded when there is music. But the rest of the time it has a very calm atmosphere.
