“Updated decor with average food”
Reviewed August 14, 2014

This location has been redecorated and looks good. Our server was good but they do use teams to serve. The food was average - the chicken overdone. The veggies overdone. The dessert dull but sweet. You will not be hungry, but Bob Evans used to cook better food in the past.

“What I should've expected from a chain.”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Went for a late breakfast. Food was ok nothing great. Reasonable prices. Small portions. My pancakes were undercooked and batter in the middle. Not sure why Bob Evans prefers older cranky waitresses who act like it's a hassle to wait on you. Take your order and never see them again until you get the check. That's been my experience at everyone I've been to. The manager and the lady who brought our food were both very nice. Also a kids orange juice was $1.29 in a small kids cup. He was done drinking it before we got our food. When we got our check we asked the waitress for a refill. She snatched the check back up and left. Came back with another child's orange juice and added $2.39 to the bill for the refill. Seriously? A refill costs more than the original drink. There is apparently a surcharge for making the waitress do something other than take your order. I attached a copy of the receipt incase someone doubts that because it seems so absurd. It appeared more like our waitress was more annoyed that she gave us a check without asking if we wanted anything else and had to actually do more work and change the receipt. I've never been to a restaurant were normal drinks cost to refill and especially one that charges almost double to refill it.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

We enjoyed the rise and shine breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs. The buttermilk biscuits were excellent. Coffee is a little weak. Place was clean. The pie menu for dessert looked appealing but we were too full to give you a full review on the pies.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

My wife and I love Bob Evans for breakfast, and have for almost 25 years. We look for them sometimes when we travel as there is not one within 100 miles of our present home.

We hit this Bob Evans last weekend while staying in Collinsville. My wife had the country biscuit breakfast, which is a biscuit split open then topped with gravy, a couple eggs, and crumbled sausage. I has the "rise and shine" consisting of two sausage patties, two eggs, and hash browns. Both meals were wonderful. We would recommend them.

The coffee was great and so was the service. This was a great choice instead of the "free" breakfast at our hotel.
