This B&B is a neat historic home that has been restored. Love the woodwork and unique house layout. The house is decorated in kind of Victorian theme with lots of dolls on display.
The innkeeper was very nice, personable, and cooked us a delicious brunch complete with FRESH eggs from her two chickens. Her cinnamon raisin muffins were also delish.

The town of Chrisman is very quaint and we loved walking around town just enjoying the peaceful area.

DEFINITELY was a great value for the money= SO REASONABLE!

I would recommend this B&B- a great place to stay!

My husband and I usually stay here when we take our son to a boarding school a few miles from Chrisman. Joy always treats us as if we were her most special guests! I'm sure she treats everyone that way! The house is beautiful and old fashioned and decorated so tastefully. The breakfasts are great too, and the price is right! What more could we ask for!?

My husband and I spent two days at the Old Brick Inn. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed and at home. Joy showed us our room, pointed out the bathroom etc. and told us to let her know if we needed anything. Our room was comfortable and attractive, clean and neat, with a shared half bath and a full bath down the hall. The bed was warm and soft, there was a desk for our laptop, and plenty of light for reading. I had a chance to look at the other rooms (that weekend we were the only guests) and all the rooms looked great. The big bedroom upstairs looked especially inviting, with a door going to the large upstairs porch. The downstairs room had two full beds and a great shower. It's hard to find places with downstairs rooms which are especially good for the elderly. We used to go to B&B's with my parents and, as they got older, they couldn't do the steps that most homes have. I don't know if the Old Brick would accommodate a wheelchair but the shower was certainly good for those less mobile.

The only downside, depending on your needs, is that Chrisman is very small and doesn't have much going on. However there are larger towns nearby that offer good food etc. Chrisman is a dry town, but, again, there are places close by that have what you need.

The breakfasts were both very good, plain Midwestern style meals with eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, orange juice, sausage, bacon and coffee.

Old Brick is a great place to just kick back and relax. Joy is warm and friendly without hovering.
