This small Italian restaurant/pizzeria is a favorite of my husband and I, and is located right inside the 900 n Michigan Ave building. We absolutely love their authentic individual style pizzas and every one we've had has been fabulous. They also make a delicious herb butter that they accompany with breadsticks, and we highly recommend their tomato soup if you want a cheesy-tomato mixture of heaven and comfort in your mouth! Being located inside the mall, it's definitely kid-friendly but still maintains a subtle elegance that you'd expect from a restaurant inside the 900 building. We make special trips into the city just to come here. Love Frankie's!

My husband and I travelled to Chicago December 25 to 30, 2013 and went to Frankie's twice; once for breakfast and once for dinner.

I had the cinnamon pecan oven baked pancake and stole my husbands whipped cream mixed with real vanilla - it was devine!

On our last night in Chicago and after a long day of shopping we went to Frankie's for dinner as we stayed at The Four Seasons which is attached to the mall. The food was phenomenal and they sat us at a romantic corner table. I had the gnocchi with fresh lobster and there were huge chunks of lobster in it, it was amazing. My husband had the spicy marinara pasta with seafood which was the special and was very pleased it with. For dessert, I had the tiramisu and my husband had the oven-baked cookie - both highly recommended!

the only negative was that our server seemed to want to get out of there (they close at 8 on Sundays) and seemed hurried and then didn't pay us much attention near the end when we wanted to pay but that being said it was a great experience overall.

Located in the Bloomingdale's mall on Michigan, Frankie's is the perfect lunch break or dinner spot while on Michigan Ave. Fantastic wood-oven fired pizzas- the pepperoni is great. The Italian salad is a favorite of mine. Kids options are great- lots of pastas and good chicken fingers and fries.

Nice Italian place located in the Bloomingdale's building on Michigan Avenue. Good place to stop after shopping. Casual, good food, and a nice friendly place. The pizza's are good. Prices are reasonable. Ask to be seated in Irene's section.

We booked a Rez on opentable.com. It allowed us to walk right in and grab a seat even though there were people waiting in the lobby ( we made the re 20 minutes prior to arrival). We were seated back in the corner, with a great view of all the dining area and people watching galore. Our waiter was fantastic, he had actually just moved from Hawaii, and he was adjusting to the Chicago cold. Very friendly staff, drinks were big, and food was delish, I had the gnocchi, which in spite of coming on a shallow plate is super filling. This is a casual atmosphere with great food, and an overall nice vibe to it. Suitable for couples, girls or guys night out and even a family dinner.
