We spent most of our time away from the hotel, but it was nice. But for $330 I expected ALOT more. The restaurants around there are great. You can see the Starbucks right away, but just past it is "Q". YOU MUST EAT THERE. Wow. Great. Eduardo's is nice too. The beach is only a few blocks away, so during the summer you'll see alot of shorts and sandals and swimsuits. Yes a part of the neighborhood looks like an imitation beach boardwalk, but mostly it is a great area.

When we arrived, the reception area looked different to any others we had seen, as it was painted in a blue colour, It gave it a bit of a beach-style hotel look. Our room was very large and also painted in blue. The bedding looked really nice and stylish on the huge bed which could have been maybe 7 feet wide and proved to be extremely comfortable. The downside was, the room was very cold and we could not alter the thermostat from cold air to warm, so I was forced to wear a scarf as extra warmth even indoors. We did have a very tasty meal in the bar and delicious margaritas! The hotel was in a great location and we were able to reach the shops easily and also to visit Lake Michigan which accessed through the the Navy Pier. The staff in the hotel were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our two days stay.

Like most reviewers, the location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to most within the city center on a quiet local street.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained, the rooms are more than accommodating for the business traveler or a couple visiting the city.

SMALL, but NOT tiny rooms so probably not best for families or folks that need more square footage for extended stays. Also the walls are not sound proofed so feel free to listen in on your neighbors.

Room Tip: Only two elevators, but not wasn't an issue. Feel free to go high up as you get great views of...

We loved the location of this hotel! Lots of shopping, restaurants, Saturday farmer's market and the metro were located just a block or two from the front door. You are also within a short walk from the lake front. The staff took good care of us with a special acknowledgement of the cafe server who took exceptional care of us every morning at breakfast!! Our room was small but unique, like something out of Key West! The one drawback to this hotel was the noise level. You could hear everyone that passed by in the hall, slammed the door and city noise from the street as well.

Never again! A waste of money. False adverting. Like the color in the rooms but other than that, everything else is not even close to coming up to par! False advertising for one, about a indoor pool! Lies over the phone about what they have. I give it ZERO stars!Called the hotel and they told us there have hot fresh cookies up at front desk for the young guest ( witch was a big fat lie).None of my rooms had a freg so their goes my kids leftovers that I paid a pretty penny for(never seen a hotel ,now a days, without a freg. Go figure!). My rooms smelled like mold that's been sitting there for years. I waited a very long time before two workers showed up to finish whatever it was they were doing until I said "hello, is anyone working the front desk, my four kids are ready for our rooms). This place sucked!!!! Never again!!!!!! Do not stay here!!!!

This hotel was recommended to me by hotels.com! Based on 99% approval, which must be fake!
The carpet smells like dirty socks, the bathroom had mold in the vent, no fridge, small pillows made for toddlers. I woke up with the worst neck pain and headache and my allergies where killing me. No bar, bad customer service, fake ratings. Stay away!
