This hotel is a classic. Great service. Some service items were over priced or should have been included as part of the room charge, such as internet access. The breakfast buffet was most complete and very good. The hotel location is great.

This was the first time in Chicago I searched the internet and The Drake was just great, easy for most things so helpful at reception.Even when my friends suitcase did not arrive at the airport they were so nice to us.Room was a great size and room service just brilliant nothing was to much trouble. We would stay there again and the Cape cod was just brilliant the crab cakes are a must.

Room Tip: We asked for a room with a nice view and quite, and all are good

This is one of those grand hotels built to acccommodate a traveller's every wish. It's been taken over by Hilton and so far they have, with some minot exceptions, maintained the standard of excellence one would expect in a five star hotel. However, the toileteries in the executive suite we were in were below standard. At the price for the room one expects something more than the shampoo and soap bar to be found in every standard room. Up-grading to an Executive level room is probably worth it for the view of Lake Michigan alone, but the breakfast provided is very basic - scrambled eggs but no sausage or bacon for example.

Room Tip: Get a Lakeview room - it's worth the extra.

We really like the location and the antique look...but the bathrooms need restoration ASAP and the rugs and curtains need to be cleaned more frequently. You could smell the dust and the water pressure was almost inexistent in the shower.
Breakfast was very good! I really liked it and the service was great! Specially the waitress, a very nice mexican lady, sadly I don't remember her name and the concierge! Very nice ladies =) thank you!

What a place inside the hotel and close buy on Rush street. Best night in a cross country car trip. Great service and recommendations on where to go and enjoy the night. The best of the past with a great feel to the lobby and the lower level mall.

The Drake is one of the old beauties of the hotel world. i had an excellent suite with a lousy view. the hotel itself is well maintained. Everything is pretty pricey but it is nice. I'd recommend if someone else is paying. ;)

Great hotel in a perfect location. Short walk to beach and also to great shopping. Highly recommend the vodka and caviar in the Chart Room, the lobby bar. The staff are all nice. Ask for a lake view room! This is our second time at The Drake and we love it!
