Having traveled extensively, both abroad and in the United Sates, I have a range of experience in lodgings and the amenities offered in locations ranging from Africa to Europe to the Far East. That stated, what is always of particular importance to me is the level of courtesy and professionalism exhibited by the service people. The staff of the aforementioned hotel I would rate in the top ten per cent, in terms of cordiality and knowledge of local venues, including restaurants, plays, and other forms of entertainment, along with their ability to secure reservations on short notice. I would highly recommend the Sheraton Chicago to family and friends.

The service was really appalling. The concierge was almost non-existent and the front desk couldn't be more unhelpful. They would go on break and not return, the Room Service would close early without informing the front desk. The keys would almost never work and we met plenty of other guests with similar bad experiences. In 5 nights we had to get new keys 4 times and sometimes couldn't get into the gym. It's shocking that this hotel is run by Sheraton and a major overhaul is really needed. The facilities are nice, but do not stay in the old style rooms that look like a 2 star motel room.

Location is great a few blocks from the magnificent mile & the cloud. You can walk everywhere so that was convenient.

We had our family of 6 with 4 kids and Connie was so wonderful to all of us especially while we were waiting for our room to be ready. The next night she called the room to make sure the kids were able to enjoy the fresh baked cookies before they went to bed. Her service was impeccable and we want to thank her for making our trip so enjoyable. Thank you!

We have stayed at the Sheraton in Chicago 3 times and have enjoyed our stay each time. From the moment we get there until the time we check out the staff is helpful and friendly, Our room is comfortable and clean (most comfortable bed we have ever slept in) with a spectacular view of the city. The location is great. It is always nice to come back to at the end of a busy day.

The hotel is in a great central location. It's a very busy and large hotel. When we stayed, it was so busy that there were lines continuously at the reception area and the lobby area was packed with people sitting and standing, to the point where you could barely get through. The room was clean and well supplied, there were no issues with the room. The pool and workout area is nice and clean.

This was my first stay at this hotel. I would reccomend this to anyone. The Staff there was very helpful in everyway. Very convenient to the waterfront and all that goes with it. Can't wait to go again!!!

Wife and I stayed here for one night, after attending an opera. Staff is courteous and helpful; rooms are nicely decorated (although I sometimes wonder where hotels go to find their "unusual" wall papers!); and the small bar connected to the steak house was friendly and comfortable. Since this was a week night, it was loaded with business travelers, 95% male.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view.
