So rumor has it the Rolling Stones stayed here 30 years ago --- seems like the lobby and common areas have not been updated since. Room is small but recently renovated and bathroom is clean and modern. This would not be my first or second choice but will do in a pinch!

This hotel has the basics but not the details. The location, architecture, surroundings, fixings and accommodation are all really Hugh end...but the details aren't up to scratch. At this price tag you expect not to have to queue for over half an hour to check in, you expect not to be charged ten extra dollars for the wifi (that doesn't work on the rooftop bar), you expect the cable and TV to work properly, you expect the key cards to always work...that sort if thing niggles and irritates. It's a real shame as the sleep quality and the rooms are lovely. The rooftop bar is also a treat. But it needs some more polishing before it gets a fifth star from me...

We spent one night during the Memorial Day weekend at this hotel. We were there for a wedding two blocks away. This is an old apartment building that has been converted to a boutique hotel. The room we stayed in, a deluxe suite, had been converted from a one bedroom apartment. The view from our 15th floor room was of fire escapes but we were only in the room to sleep and change clothes. The two robes in the closet were really comfy as was the bed. The shower had a good water stream. There was very little counter space in the bathroom. The elevators are quite small and slow and many guests waiting for them and in them commented on this. The staff was friendly and helpful. We parked almost across the street in a condo parking garage that charged $30 for the night, less than the hotel's lot. We would stay here again if the need came up.

Room Tip: The rooms in the back, away from the street, are quiet.

Read no further, The Raffaello Hotel is perfect! I booked this online after reading the many reviews on here. I wasn't disappointed. From the moment we pulled up in front the valet took care of everything. He was more than accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. We arrived early so he took our luggage and stored it for us until our room was ready. I wish I had asked his name as he is most certainly an asset to this establishment. He did say that he's worked there since 2006. This guy knows his stuff!

Our room was on the small side, as I expected, because I booked the room online through booking.com. But we didn't mind at all as we had a great city view, the bed was wonderful, and the shower was the best I have ever had!!! It's also located 1 block from the Magnificent Mile and all the action.

If I had to pick something I wasn't happy with I'd say the lack of free WiFi, but there was WiFi available in the lobby, as well as in your room for a $10 fee.

This just may have been the most impressive hotel in the most convenient location that we've had the pleasure of staying in!

Great location! Next to john hancock tower with its signature room on 96th floor. Also near water tower place with good shopping and very good food court.best of all 2 blocks from the beach.
Very friendly atmosphere, enjoyable rooftop bar - 18th floor.
Only drawback: wifi only free in lobby. $ 10 a day in room.
