We have stayed here in the past bcuz of the price and it is kinda fun bcuz it feels like a cross between the Titanic (lobby) and the Shining (creepy hallways). If you like older hotels for the historical aspect, than this is great. If you prefer a more contemporary lush hotel, this is not the place. It is located directly across from Grant Park, and that is next to Millennium Park. If you get a room on the East side of the hotel, the views of the fireworks in the summer are great! It is also fun to look over the park and busy Mich Ave.
