We received 20% off on 4 night stay, (available with 3 night stay) and were upgraded to Business class room which was appreciated as the room was much larger than the standard room reserved. The room was clean and bed/s comfortable. Liked the free wifi and free standard breakfast with additional fresh fruit, bagels and cream cheese. We used the laundry facilities, which was great after being on the road 3 days prior to Chicago. All the staff were very helpful and courteous. The location was good (north of downtown) - near Lincoln Park and Wrigley Field) and a 5 to 10 minute walk to Diversey (brown line) train station. We purchased the 3 day CTA unlimited ride pass ($14) at Walgreens (on walk to the station). It was cheaper and easier than purchasing tickets for each ride. Be sure to pick up the free Bus & Rail Map at the station. The rail system is easy to ride with trains coming frequently with easy connection to the other lines. On the way back to O'Hare we caught a taxi which cost $40 (included tip+). To save money (using the 3-day unlimited ride pass) you can catch the Diversey bus (outside the hotel) to Logan Square then the Blue Line train to O'Hare. We are seniors and had a heavy suitcase - the taxi was easiet for us. We lost out on purchasing the Chicago City Pass at $84 each and would not recommend it for short stay. The Chicago City Pass has included "add-ons" (museum audio) which we did not use; good for 9 days and skip most ticket lines (but no lines in November).
