Top most with me is cleanliness -- and Days Inn Chicago (on Diversy) did a great job with that. Everyone was friendly & helpful. Lots of restaurants and places to eat nearby. If you are not familiar with the bus lines, city people everywhere can direct you. The "L" was not bad. I traveled with my 13 year old grandson and we did quite well getting around to all the sights. Word of caution -- much street repair going on Oct. 2012 -- so bus routes altered at times.
