This was our first time at a Cubs game and this was an excellent location. Walking distance from the Days Inn to Wrigley. Many restaurants and stores close by. Clean and safe environment. The front desk staff very helpful. Breakfast was good. We will stay here again!

Stayed for one night last week while in town to see the Cubs. This hotel was in a perfect location, near enough to Wrigley to walk if you want (we walked, it took about 25 minutes or so), also close to a bus that goes straight there. It's also very close to Lincoln Park which was awesome to walk/run through, as well as being in the neighborhood with a bunch of smaller scale restaurants, bars and shops that looked like tons of fun. The hotel itself was nice, the beds were slightly hard, but worth it for the location, included breakfast, and nice staff. Will definitely be staying here again!

Room tip: Staff is very accomodating, if you have special requests definitely ask about them

This Day's Inn is in a great location, I was able to navigate Chicago's public transportation and get anywhere I wanted within the city (all the tourist attractions, and the airport.) The area is nice and safe to walk in with lots of stores and restaurants you can walk to.

The hotel itself is cute and clean and the free breakfast was nice. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful with anything I needed. The room is tiny, but I was traveling alone so it's all I needed.

However, because I booked through a travel website, I was led to believe that all the rooms had refrigerators and microwaves, due to them being listed on the site as amenities. When I got there, I learned that those are only in the upgraded business rooms and would coast and extra $60 per night. So keep that in mind.

Also, my first room had a very strong smell of urine in one particular spot on the carpet- (probably a toddler accident, it happens) and I had to complain. But they moved me to another room, no questions asked. Some of the tvs have upgraded new flat screens, some of them still have big box tvs. I don't really care about this, but I noticed when I switched rooms. (For what it's worth, the big box tv in the first room worked fine, but the flat screen was a little screwy and would randomly turn off or stop responding to the remote.) In any case, I would stay here again, but probably only pay less than $100/night. I think it's worth that. They also charge for local calls, a slight annoyance because I had the misfortune to break my cell phone during my stay. If you are booking through a travel site, make sure you are actually getting a deal that is cheaper than directly through the hotel's site.

This hotel is wonderfully located in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, which has lots of wonderful shopping and restaurants (and is near the zoo, parks, and beaches). The hotel reminded us of a fancy European boutique hotel - it is modern, clean, very pretty, and the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast had fine food, the room we had was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Guests also get to use the nearby Bally Fitness Center for free. It is definitely the best Days Inn we ever stayed in and we will definitely be returning. (Note that this hotel is not downtown, so if you need to be located in or near the Loop, it is probably not for you.)

Room tip: We stayed in a room with two double beds (as compared with two full beds) and the extra room was really nice.

Travelled with a friend for a quick getaway. We were in a room with 2 beds, fridge, & micro(we were in room 403), room with views of Clark St. As always it was a great stay, staff very friendly, and willing to help in any way possible. If your not a continental b-fast kind-of-person, I would suggest The Golden Nugget one block south of Diversey on Clark.
