“Best breakfast menu! Lots of choices!”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Loved the eggs benedict and the yogurt banana split. Coffee was good - everything was delicious. Fast friendly service in a lovely setting.

“Fast and fun pre-theatre dinner”
Reviewed April 25, 2012

Flattop has become our go-to spot for pre-theatre dinner because it's fast and (can be) healthy. We love their fresh choices and the opportunity to mix and match makes it a different meal every time. Price is very reasonable (and they give student discounts). They have recently branched out to offer other variations besides just stir fry. Whatever you do, don't forget to get the bread. Friendly waitstaff -- often actors from the local schools.

“Good Breakfast and Lunch spot.”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

We went to Le Peep for breakfast this morning and it did not disappoint. The waffles were cooked perfectly as were the poached eggs and bacon. The various benedicts are excellent. All in all, a really good place for breakfast. In months past, celebrities and politicians have eaten there and it is popular due its location in the West Loop loft area. Today, we were seated right away and service was fast and responsive. The food is excellent here and it is well prepared. If you are visiting, you will find parking convenient and this place is less crowded during the week making a great alternative to a hotel breakfast. We live in the neighborhood, so we took advantage of the wonderful weather today to walk over and enjoy the day. Reasonably priced and conveniently located, I recommend it.

“Love the Salads”
Reviewed January 20, 2012

I frequent Le Peep quite often and I can't recall anything I've eaten (other than the steak) that I didn't enjoy. I'm a lover of great steaks and they definitely fall short. At any rate, everything else I've eaten there has been good.. Their salads are very good.. They also have fresh fruit smoothies available to you.. They offer valet parking for$8 or $9 but most of the time I go, I find street parking. Just as the other Le Peeps, they close at 2 or 3pm.

“Better service & Better food than Wishbone.”
Reviewed January 16, 2010

We've been to both Wishbone & LePeep and LePeep is way better. The server we had was extremely bubbly and took very good care of us. They serve a ton of food - so go hungry. The one draw back was that one of the biscuits we got was a little hard, the omelet (huge) was very good. Overall the food was very good.
