“Great food and service”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Had a delicious dinner at The Gage during a business trip to Chicago. Varied food selections and not overly priced for Chicago.

Make reservations as the restaurant was packed during the week.

Love the atmosphere but it was VERY noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation with the person sitting directly across from me. The smaller tables are also very close together so you can hear what the next table is talking about as well as view their food!

Excellent staff who answered all our questions and made recommendations.

We had a marvelous lunch here. What made it exceptional was our wait person, Johnnie- who was personable, informed and downright fun. Our meal and experience was everything we look for In travel- delicious and delightful personal.

“5 stars no Matta how ya slice it!! High class!!”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

My cousin and I had some snacks at the bar....fried sliced pickles and squash plus a coke cured me of my day after the flu blues! Great service and smiles too!!

If you like beer and wine.... SCORE!! List for days..... Tons on tap.

The burgers and salads I saw coming out..... Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm. Good. Fancy!!!!

Great atmosphere... Sit by a window and enjoy watching the brisk November hustle of downtown Chicago!!

This is a high class joint but not crazy crazy expensive!! Highly recommend.
