We arrived on a Thursday and checked in a little after 3. Staff seemed uninterested in helping you check in. The Staff was dismissive and profiled us belonging to other ethnic couples who were also there to check in. They proceeded to ignore the other people thinking we were all one group. The staff did not inform us how to use the room Keys to access the hotel room. Another hotel guest had to tell us how to use the elevator. We did not have a pleasant experience with our room either. Check all your pillows and sheets thoroughly. We had nasty stains on our pillows, called twice with no action taken. We got a text from a hotel staff and that’s where I voiced my complaint for a third time. They finally came with new pillows 3 hours later. For the price you pay, there might be better options out there. And...breakfast is not FREE. you must be a member in order to eat the advertised free breakfast. There is a staff there that checks you in and makes you feel obligated to sign up or else will charge it to your room. Location is good but that’s about it.

Great place to stay, staff friendly, rooms very modern and clean. Breakfast was better than most hotels with lots of fresh made food. It was our anniversary and they delivered a fresh cale and wine to our room after we arrived. Would go there again for sure!

We stayed in a Hyatt Place in DC and fell in love with the chain. I am so pleased that we found one here in Chicago, and that I chose the location I did-it is perfect! You are walking distance from pretty much anything which is touristy... The Sears Tower is right beside you, Millenium Park is a short walk, Buckingham Fountain, Hamilton, the Riverwalk, Giordano’s, etc... there are always taxis sitting out front to take you anywhere else you want to go, and you are just a block from the green line and three from the red line. I will say that you will be hard pressed finding somethings on the weekend, since this area turns into a ghost town despite food options (Starbucks/Dunkin/Chipotle-things like that) being on every corner. While mentioning food, I will go on and say that in DC we had the breakfast automatically with our stay, so I didn’t think anything about it, but apparently here if you want it you have to sign up for it with your room? Also, another if you sign up through a travel source, when you check in make sure your reservation is not split up-I know that sounds weird, but my kids got back before us one day, and they were told we were suppose to check-out by 11... I think since it was a weekend>weekday stay change in price that was the misunderstanding, so just check. And another thing that was trifling was several times during our stay people would get on the elevators with us with bathing suits on, ride up to our floor, get off, then call the elevator to go back down to the swimming pool (since they didn’t have a key to operate the elevators). But the actual hotel/location/workers were amazing!

Everyone was really friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Very professional staff, the free breakfast was basic but very nice and convenient before heading out in morning. I will definitely come back.

The location is excellent and the traffic is convenient. The rooms are clean with a lot of space and good view of the city. The breakfast is really delicious with many options. The staffs at the front desk are friendly.
