Pros: stunning views in all directions (river/lake view is my favorite), big beautifully decorated rooms and suites, perfect sheets and towels, fantastic room service/housekeeping/turn down, great location, and endless supply of cabs outside. The kitchens are a wonderful bonus.
Cons: the walls are a little too thin for this class of hotel (I shouldn't be able to hear the Wave radios or boisterous conversations in adjacent rooms), and there aren't enough elevators.
Overall, I have to give this hotel 5 out of 5 because the pros so far outweigh the cons and I'm sure I'll be staying there again.
Just want to add that I very much appreciate that Donald Trump chose such a great architectural firm (SOM) to design this building. It's a fabulous addition to the Chicago skyline and looks so beautiful day and night.More
