After eating Thai, vegan, and vegetarian food, I needed something different to whet my palate. Ahhh, this is the place!
Pho is a Vietnamese restaurant on 55th street in Hyde Park ,on what I now call Little Asia" ,because Pho (pronounced "fuh")was on the same block as Japanese,Korean, and Thai restaurants.
This food definitely has the French and American influence.I enjoyed the Grilled
Salmon over Garlic Noodle dish which was delicious,as well as the lotus roots salad with tofu. For dessert, I tried the crème brulée-delicious.
The second trip back was equally delicious. The photos on the menu will entice you,if you like Asian food, and will satisfy you if you like the nouvelle cuisine type of presentation.
Welcome to Hyde Park,Pho!
