“Top-Notch Park & Very Reasonable Rates!”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

I am not even a true White Sox fan, but I went there today to take a friend who is from out of town. Neither of us were disappointed. The entire stadium was very clean (not a piece of trash anywhere, the bathrooms were clean and did not smell bad, the seating and the paint were well maintained). They have seats starting at $7. ($5. on Sundays). Parking right outside of the stadium is $20. Hot dogs for $5.50 and large beers for about $7.75. They gave away replica helmets and it was also Star Wars Day and they had Star Wars characters moving around the main concourse posing for photos with the fans. They also do fireworks. The crowd was pleasant, the scoreboards were nice. Don't forget to stop by Guest Services (behind home plate) to get your complimentary certificate commemorating the date of your first visit to US Cellular Field. Overall this was very fun and it won't hit your wallet too hard.

“Good improvements to the "Cell"”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

I have been to a number of games at US Cellular Field since the ball park opened. The difference between how the park then and now is huge. There were some bad seats in terms of the view at the original "Cell". It also was not very attractive. Time has been good to the Cell. Now the seating is better and it looks like what a ballpark should look like. The ticket prices have been reduced, and there is ample parking if you drive. Several CTA lines surround the park; the "red line" is currently closed. Also the Rock Island Commuter trains now have a stop for the Cell. The food is pretty good but is somewhat expensive, although less expensive then some other major league ball parks. This is probably the last year Paul Konerko and when he gets off the disabled list you will want to see the last member of the 2005 World Series Champions.

“Modern Ballpark”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

One of the "modern ballparks"; had good time, rode train from downtown; 3-4 block walk to stadium as trains are rerouted due to construction; no problems; nice fireworks after game; still miss "Cominski"!

“Go to see a Baseball Game - an American icon event”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Tickets start at $5. We bought the $10 tickets, just before the game. We paid $10 instead of $5, to be under shelter incase it rained. We had great seats. The beverages and food can be a bit pricey. There was a $1.00 hotdog special earlier on in the evening and these were quite yummy.
We saw the Chicago White Sox and had great fun watching the game. Sometimes there are fireworks after the game and these are excellent!
Tip: Buy your tickets at the park just before the game. You can pick your seating position from the plan and this will save you the internet booking fee. It seems that there are always plenty of seats. It is a huge venue. Have fun at the ball game! :)

“No Personality”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

For a newer field it doesn't have the welcoming warmth that some of the other ballparks have. With the technology of the early 1990s you would think it could be built without obstructed views.
