Stopped in for lunch and we had the specials. Chicken and Reuben sandwich. Not a big menu but the food was very good. Cornbread w/Jalapeno was tasty, too, although it wasn't that hot. That was a good thing for me. Washed it all down with some pints. Service was excellent! Not too many people there eating. We were on foot so don't know about parking. It's located in the Marina Towers, in the rear up the ramp.

We are locals but had never been to the House of Blues Gospel Brunch; but, when a 16 year old visitor from France came we made the reservations. I was concerned from other reviewers that the seating would be too tight in the Pit section. While we were close to our fellow diners in long banquet style seating, it was more than adequate, and made the experience more like one big family. The food was excellent and the lines were not long at all. The music was outstanding, inspiriational, and very fun. Would highly recommend for locals looking for something different, and for tourists to see what gospel is like and have some southern food specialties--must try the chicken and waffels.

The place is realy nice, it has decorations all over the place. The music was good, and the food too. It has a "restaurante part" and a "bar part" so you can choose between go and have diner, or just chill out at the bar.

My bestfriend and I went to the Strip Strip Hooray show here. The show was great. There are tables by the bar that were being sold as seating. Otherwise it was general admission to the pit or general admisson standing elevated from the pit by the other bar. The great part about this House of blues is how small it is. You really feel close to the performers and there isn't really a bad spot since it is all so close to the stage. However, standing for 3 hours in heels was not a great idea.

The band was loud and you could not hear any lyrics. A shame for such a renowned place where great artists performed. The restaurant with bar made up for the disappointment. The live music there was better than the band we came for upstairs.
The building is a gem and there is so much to see ! A real masterpiece !
Staff was friendly ;-)
