“Good place to have dinner”
Reviewed December 11, 2013 via mobile

We had appetizers and pizza. The veal meatballs and the octopus are very good. The marguerite pizza was good. Good wine selection. Service was excellent. Great personnel working there they love what they do. The dessert was just perfect. Definitively would go again

“Wonderful service and good food.”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

I have been in Chicago many times, walked by this place, but for some reason never went in. So it was time to try. See, that's how good quality and serviced are in Chicago: this restaurant is located in a touristy area, but the service is like an upscale neighborhood eatery. Our server was great since the beginning: I put my coat on an empty chair at my table, she immediately covers the coat with a white napkin, just in case. Nice touch.

They have an Italian Party menu dinner that looks very good and reasonably priced, but it was our last day of a 7-day trip to Chicago so were kind of full...before eating at that point.

Wife started with grilled octopus, very nice. I had the arugola salad with peppercorn bacon, loved the way the flavors met each other in this dish. Light, refreshing, but tasty.

Being that after a week of eating we weren't too hungry, we ordered two side pasta dishes: they basically were regular portions! At $ 8.95 ea. the value with outrageous, can't get a darn cheeseburger for that price in South Florida.

I had the pappardelle three-meat ragu (veal, beef, pork) and they were cooked rightly, tasty, great for the price.
My wife also hit a winner with the risotto with wild mushrooms, parmesan broth.

Positive experience and I would like to go back for more.

What a nice surprise we found here. We had there special Italian Feast. The food was all prepared perfect and the taste was outstanding. If you do this you must pace yourself because the amount of food was unbelievable and every dish was excellent! The service was just as excellent and he took time to explain each dish! I can't wait to return here again and enjoy this great food and service!!

“Great if you like thin crust pizza....”
Reviewed December 3, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

One of my favorite places to eat for thin crust pizza. That's about all I can recommend since that's what I have been ordering for the past 10 years along with an arugula salad with bacon and dates. There are two sides to this restaurant, one very casual and the other more up-scale for dinner. I prefer the casual side which is a bar and maybe 10 tables. Located in the River North area. In the summer they also have outside tables. Enjoy

“Cozy atmosphere with superb food”
Reviewed November 29, 2013 via mobile

I took my family here for a late lunch and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere was intimate and warm, the food was perfectly prepared and reasonably priced, and the wait staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt. The meatballs (appetizer) were some of the best I've ever had. Will certainly be returning in the future.
