Description: (OH-STEH-REE-YAH) A casual Italian tavern where people gather to enjoy antipasti with wine, a plate of pasta or an Italian feast, all served with the warmth and hospitality of family. Osteria Via Stato, a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant follows this definition and the Italian tradition of seasonally prepared dishes featuring local ingredients and artisanal producers paired with an all Italian wine list. Osteria Via Stato opens daily at five. Pizzeria Via Stato located adjacent to Osteria Via Stato is a cozy, Roman-style pizzeria that continues to highlight Executive Chef Digregorio’s passion for market-fresh ingredients. The tavern pizzas have crispy, thin crust with both artisanal and classic toppings. The tavern also features 300 Italian wines, local bottles and draft beers as well as an extensive selection of small plates. Pizzeria Via Stato offers both lunch and dinner

We had a reservation mix up (my fault), and they were so gracious to find us a table, even though it was packed on a Saturday night. That was the start of a lovely dinner. Atmosphere cozy and quaint, service top notch, food was fantastic, authentic italian. The bread, the wine, the homemade pastas, yummmmm.

Looked for a restaurant near our hotel and according to reviews in Tripadvisor went to this restaurant. We shared few nice appetizers and I decided not to go for the pastas and had the seafood stew. It was great dish.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant when we arrived late at the Dana Hotel. We were so surprised and pleased that my husband went back everyday for lunch. The bread was irresistible with the roasted garlic. Very good and friendly service.

Pre-opera dinner. VERY helpful server. Half orders (which were plenty and I am a big eater) on most pastas under $10. Loved it.

Went last night and had their tasting menu. The gnocchi melted in our mouths, the polenta w/short ribs meat was excellent so was the Monk fish (a special that day.) the pizzas min the lounge looked amazing. Pretty sure we'll head back there sometime this weekend to have those.
