This is the best "Free" view of the Chicago Skyline. The reason I say "Free" is because it doesn't cost anything to go there but you should definitely order a drink. The cheapest thing you can get in the lounge was bottle water for $5. Most alcoholic drinks are $12-$16. There is also a restaurant there but I found the food to mediocre at best and well overpriced. There are number of better restaurants in Chicago but none with this view. Getting service at a table is almost impossible, you will have to go to the bar to order a drink. From the lounge you will be able to view to the North, South and East of the John Hancock Building. You can view the lake only from the restaurant one level down. The hardest part was getting a table near a window, go early (before 8pm) and stay there till you are satisfied.
