Nothing here is typical theater. The cast and director put heart and soul into every play, every single performance. Nothing is too much trouble for this ensemble .. you will not be disappointed. Instead, you are sure to leave intrigued, impressed and wondering how they did that! We saw "Eastland" this past summer and it blew us away. The set, actors, music - everything original, as is all of their work.
Most productions incorporate some type of acrobatics or a physical theater component, and they do it well! The theater is located within The Chicago Water Pumping Station on The Magnificent Mile in the heart of the tourist area. Lots of eateries around it and a beautiful area of the city. GO - don't hesitate, even if you have no clue what the play is beforehand. You are sure to have a memorable experience at Lookingglass Theatre.
