I have loved this place since I was a little girl. It suffered damage to the windows in a terrible storm in 2011. If you are in the are, be sure to stop.

One of the nation's premier conservatories — six multi-faceted greenhouses and two grand exhibition halls, the Garfield Park Conservatory is an all year round park that let's you escape the cold in the winter and take's you into another world in the spring / summer / fall with their outdoor exhibits.

It is truly a hidden gem in the city of Chicago and is not to be missed when visiting Chicago.

It was an amazing place. We were disappointed some rooms were closed, but it was due to a storm that broke the glass. We really enjoyed it! It was so pretty. We cant wait to go back and see all the rooms when completed!

It's on the west side and I wouldn't take the El- but if you can get a car and drive there, it's beautiful. Indoor gardens open all year round.

I've been going to the Conservatory since I was a small child and look forward to it with more anticipation each time. This is a botanical gem that I have not seen duplicated anywhere else. Beautiful!!!
