Excellent steak and sides. Place and services are very good, but I have the feeling that it s a bit overrated or overpriced.

Colorado ribeye, mushrooms and new side of root veg in duck fat with a nice glass of cab hits the spot everytime.
The team in Chitown makes you feel at home.
My husband and I ended up at Smith & Wollensky by accident. We were walking around Chicago and every place had a line up. We went in just to see and ended up staying. The restaurant staff are excellent and were very family friendly. The food, although a bit pricey was excellent. I ordered Fish & Chips. At most places, the fish is usually all batter and little fish. But here they served thick pieces of fish that were tender and moist. It was really good.
Nice atmosphere and interesting sports history memorabilia downstairs that is worth to look at. Would definitely go back.
Food and drinks were delicious. We were not seated next to the window and could not even see the water, which was disappointing. It was near the end of the evening and it seemed the staff let a little of its professionalism flag (loud talking, moving mop bucket through lobby, etc)
Had high expectations and the price met that. Very high. Outstanding view. The filet was average at best. Mushroom soup very good. Salad very good. Green beans very good. Service excellent. Chocolate cake was very disappointing. Much better steak houses to go to!
