“Wow. Great Pizza. Mind Blowing Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Stopped in during a recent visit to Chicago for Roller Hockey after seeing the place on TV. We ate the Sausage Pizza and it was spectacular. The price was amazing. You've got to go here. Put it on your bucket list!
One note for people like me that never carry cash. They only accept cash but you don't need much!

“Skip the Chains - If you want an authentic Chicago Pizza Experience Get to Vito and Nicks!!`”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2013

Thin (cracker thin crust) - Flavorful - Fresh describes the pizza. The service is brought to you by experienced waitresses that are NOT going to "fuss" all over you - they are going to take your order, bring you beer and get your hot pie over to you as soon as it leaves the oven. They are working - not on the job to be socialites You eat - Enjoy - and pay cash when you leave. This is Chicago! Best pizza you will ever EAT!
The interior is reminiscent of your dads tavern. :0)
If you are traveling West on I-80 from Indiana - they have a location at 183rd and Harlem in Tinley Park IL. Get off at Harlem Ave NORTH - go to the First light and go right - then take a left at the next light into the parking lot - go right and you will see Vito and Nicks 2 at the east end of the retail strip.

“Not fancy, but tasty!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

We saw this place on DDD and decided to stop in while passing through Chicago on a road trip. This place is definitely not fancy. The service is slow and most of the waitresses are old ladies. We were there on a Thursday night and had a short wait. It definitely has the vibe of a neighborhood bar. Not sure what the decor was supposed to be. Kitschy? We didn't care all that much though, as long as the pizza was good. We got one pie. Half sausage half cheese. We really enjoyed it. The sausage was flavorful and so was the sauce. The rest of the menu is pretty limited. We got a half pitcher of soda for the two of us and it was pretty flat. I'd stick with the water next time.

“Excellent Crust”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

We aren't deep dish pizza fans so when we heard of Vito and Nick's we had to try it. We saw the episode on DDD and thought it looked really good. So in town on business, we made the 1h drive down to the south side and hoped it was worth the drive.

The bar/restaurant is nothing fancy, but that's part of their charm. Service seemed pretty fast and the restaurant was busy. There are many other things on the menu, but we came for the pizza. It was as promised. Crispy thin crust and pretty good sauce.

I'm not sure I would drive the hour there and hour back to go there again, but it was worth the experience. Decent pizza.

“Best pizza value in town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

If you like spicey italian sausage and good thin crust crispy pizza, this is the place for you. I think it has the best thin crust pizza in town for the money. It's just small place with a bar and easy to miss. These places are always discovered by word of mouth. The decor isn't much but it's basic Chicago environment. Give it a try.
