If you like to collect architecural drawings, or just look at them, this is an excellent venue. The gallery is small and in a wooden timber loft building. Despite its size, it packs a punch. The proprietor David Jameson is very knowledgable and interested in educating his visitors. No snobby art gallery attitude here.
The gallery has an extensive collection of items from the estate of Alfonso Iannelli, Daniel Burnham, Frank Lloyd Wright and many other important Chicago architects, industrial designers, and architectural photogrpahers.
If you like conceptual architectural drawings, blueprints, etc., you should pay a visit to this gallery dedicated to this type of art. This is the only gallery of its kind in Chicago and perhaps the only one like it in the country.
