“Great place!”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

I really loved this place. The lifts were a bit strange...but we honestly only used them a few times a day as we were out sight seeing. Tv was an old tube tv, probably could be updated but once again, we only watched it at night once home from our day out. The breakfast was great, location awesome and the staff were more then friendly.

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. A strange experience in a modern tower in the financial district of Chicago. Terrific views of Chicago from the 40th floor (this is where all the bedrooms are), close to Sears Tower. Breakfast was adequate, we only had continental, although full was available. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was very well apportioned. We will definitely be staying there again, and thoroughly reccommend.

Breathtaking view in a boutique hotel with excellent furnitures in large rooms. It is close to metro, close to citycenter. The breakfast is average, but staff is friendly and there is a feeling of home.
It is unusual hotel (at the 40th floor of the stock market) but i will come back there in my next visit.

As other reviews have noted, the location of this hotel (40th floor of an office building) is odd. At the same time, however, you do get amazing views of Chicago and watching the sun rise over the lake when jet lagged was really rather lovely.

The room itself was a little dated, the bed a little on the soft side but not uncomfortable. Some shower gel in the bathroom would have been nice but if you lie washing yourself with soap you'll be fine.

Breakfast during the week was great, some hot food as well as fruit and cereals.

The gym was great and nice that hotel guests don't have to pay to use it. The free wifi was good, I wish more hotels offered free wick.

The hotel is right by L stations so getting around Chicago is a breeze. It's a well priced hotel in a city with hundreds of hotels but if you want a traditional hotel this wouldn't be the place for uoj.

My wife and i stay at this great hotel for three days on the fortyth floor the view was a experience to behold it was plush delux we could not fault it.The only down side if you can that was that security was like trying to get into fort knox.Breakfast every morning was superb plenty to eat,and over all value for money.Transport close by lots of eatery but on the weekend it every thing closes because its in the financial district.

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side have great views of the lake but all rooms are excellent.

Stayed here because of in-house event @ Everest Restaurant. Room was ok, lake view was incredible, & spa and indoor pool were the best! Bad & poorly marked signage for parking (separately owned entity), no one to greet us/help with luggage, multiple & confusing elevators, housekeeping friendly & responsive, but erratic in leaving towels & toiletries. Stayed 4 nights, but spa only opened half the time. This is in the financial district, so security was EXTRA tight...however, they were pleasant & helpful. Weekend/holiday breakfast too minimal. Really just a business person's hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for room with lake view.
