We usually go to the same place for breakfast/brunch when we're in Chicago on the weekend. But I noticed that West Egg, only a block from our hotel, wasn't crowded when I was out for a morning walk. So we decided to give the place a try. By the time we got back there it was filling up, but the counter had plenty of room so we sat there. Instead of getting my usual skillet or corned beef hash I decided to try the blueberry pancakes. There were very good - lots of large blueberries, and quite filling. The service was good, and the prices weren't bad for Chicago. We'll remember this place next time we're there.
