“Had a great meal but avoid during Blackhawk's pregame crowd”
Reviewed November 11, 2010

We stopped by Tuscany after a visit to another business in the area after my husband remembered a pretty good lunch there a few years back. Place was very crowded but we didn't realize that half was filled with Blackhawk fans trying to catch a quick meal. I think they thought we were part of that crowd because service was way too fast...except for the drinks...we had to remind him about the wine....meal was really nice...I like that bustling environment.....the only odd thing about the place was the prominant placement of Barillo pasta boxes which sort of turned me off as I sort of assumed that places like this made their own pasta and that desserts were topped with canned whipped cream. the desserts were so good and that cheap whipped cream did nothing for either dish...would have rather liked to see a simple dollop of fresh whipped cream.

But back to the meal...we immediately had bread, roasted garlic and cheese put on the table...yum...waiters are well dressed and very friendly. We really had a great meal...just wished they would have asked if we were in a hurry...because we weren't and didn't like being rushed.

“Excellent”
Reviewed November 15, 2009

Went there this weekend, Saturday night, with 10 people. We had reservations for 8 PM and were immediately seated in the back room. We had two waiters who were very attentive. The bread was excellent. Drinks and appetizers came promptly. We took a long time to eat appetizers and they waited patiently for us before we ordered our dinners. The calamari was light and crisp, bruschetta was loaded. They had a garlic mash for the bread. I didn't try but others did and loved it. We had the Pasta with Shrimp Diavola, Veal Chop, Pork Chop, Gnocchi, and Sausage and Peppers. All were excellent. The Pasta and Shrimp had a real kick which those who ate it loved. We all had dessert and coffee. The coffee was very hot. Dessert included Tiramisu, a Chocolate Crostata with fruit, Profiteroles, and cheesecake. All were generous portions. We were there 2.5 hours and loved it. The entrees ran from $14 - $30. The $30 were steaks which none of us had. We also has a few salads and someone had one of the soups which they liked. I highly recommend it. While we were there there were also 3 other large parties. One had to have been about 20 people. All seemed to enjoy their dinners and had a good time.
