What happened? The owners renovated Great Street, and destroyed so much that was good about this well placed, friendly place. The new menu is bad...heavy, greasy food-- past stand-bys gone. The decor now looks like a cross between a Denny's and MadMen decor. The huge bar is gone, which is fine , but the seats are now no longer encouraging to business lunches. The privacy is gone-- open floor plan, and no privacy. Not a business lunch location any longer. Sad. Some of the friendly servers remain, but many are gone along with the old menu. Will give the place one more chance hoping that things drastically improve, and the chef becomes inspired to again offer basic good food at good prices. Renaissance (Marriott) must have wanted to "fix" this place, but someone sold a redesign and new menu is hopefully yet a work in progress. This is a great hotel. The restaurant has a great view. The food used to be great. Please FIX what you all "fixed"
