While in town for a business trip, we headed out to dinner to find out the kitchen at the restaurant we had selected closed at 10pm. Turned out to be a blessing! The guy working the door at that restaurant sent us to Pizanos on the recommendation that they go there after work. I personally love to head to places suggested by a local.....Locals know the scoop! Pizanos was wonderful! Our waiter was "Uncle Chach".....he was a hoot and loved getting a table of women from Montana. We had an appetizer and shared two pasta dishes. The spinach and artichoke dip was good but the Stuffed Chicken Marsala was fantastic! We were going to order the spaghetti with meat sauce but Uncle Chach suggested the angel hair. It was spicy and full of flavor! Will definitely be back! "It's all part of the Chach-ification process" LOL

The BEST pizza I ever had! I stayed at the Renaissance Marriott who had recommended this spot and it was my first experience trying a real chicago style pizza. Although it was busy but it was a Friday evening. The wait was about 30 min but we got to pre-order our food prior to being seated so the wait for the pizza was not too long! I would def eat at this place again!

For Chicago this place has average pizza and we have never had the pasta. The thin crust is nothing special. Crust is ok.
You can find many better places in a city known for GREAT pizza.
Service was good, prices are a little high for what you get and parking can be a hassle any time of the day.
We have gone once and do not plan on returning.

On a recent visit to the Windy City we ordered Pizanos delivered to our hotel. The pizza arrived fast and hot with only $2.50 added for delivery! Covered with a generous portion of tasty ingredients the pie was nearly as hot as when served tableside. Definitely worth having again.

We ate at Pizano's on the recommendation of a waitress from Rosebud on Rush. It was the best pizza! Deep dish, with a flaky crust. We were so glad we took her recommendation to pass on Giordano's (which always had a line). Pizano's exceeded our expectations!
