The food was awesome. The selection of beers was also great. Try the Extremely Naughty Goose! The sweet potato fries with the curry ketchup was also great.

Arrived at Brewery about an hour before our scheduled tour ($10 pp), so decided to have lunch. We each had a beer (Willow Wit and Dunkelweisen or something like that - tasted like bananas and coffee) which were very enjoyable, and then shared the pumpernickel and stilton burger, the duck flatbread, and the poached pear salad. Misjudged the meaning of small plate - this was a lot of food for two people (we cancelled our dinner reservation that evening because we were still full). The salad and burger were excellent, but the flatbread was a little disappointing - dry...not in an overcooked way, but rather like it was just missing a sauce, we both thought a cranberry mustard or a carmelized onion drizzle would have helped immensely. The tour was very disappointing - the group was too big, and by tour, they take you into a room filled with tanks and talk at you about beer making for 30-40 minutes. It was very informative and interesting information, but could have just as easily been done in the tasting room - which would have been quieter and therefore better for all, because if you were at the back of the group, you couldn't hear a word being said. The tasting side did make up for the disappointing tour - 6 beers selected by the tour guide that day, which means if you do this several times, you may never taste the same 6. and the souvenir glass was a nice addition and seems to be good quality. Tour and tasting lasted an hour total, which was a good amount of time. We had fun and will recommend.

This is one of our favorite places - the best local brew that you can't get at a store, good food, great atmosphere, and a fun neighborhood.

The beer choices push this place from 3 to 4 stars. The food is OK and there are many interesting choices. And the service was also just OK. But the beer is the reason the place is here and pretty much filled with people. You can order a sampler of 4 beers for $8, as I recall, which is a good place to start. Stick with the locally brewed ones for the best experience. The desserts were very good also. We didn't do the tour but I am sure it would be outstanding.

Beer choices galore ( no surprise here) but all food I've tasted so far is worth the trip. Try sweet potato fries and the fried duck livers with biscuits and kale (no kidding). Great bar to sit at - try the foxxy. All of the beers are described clearly on the beer menu with alcoholic content listed - you can also take large bottles to go.
