“Good Place without reservations”
Reviewed June 2, 2011

We were in Boystown and didn't have a reservation for dinner. The places in the "heart" of Boystown were packed but our friend knew of this place.

the place wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. The server was very quick and efficient. I had the beet salad which was very good and the veal flank steak which was slightly over cooked but fine. Overall the food was fine and would go back to again. i was surprised there weren't more people dining here.

“Great!”
Reviewed August 5, 2009

Our family of 3 was delighted to find this restaurant just a few blocks from the Briar Street Theatre, making this an excellent dinner spot after The Blue Man Group late afternoon show. A small, independent restaurant with a pleasant decor. We took advantage of the special "New Deal" 3 course special meal which was $18./person. That evening it consisted of soup or salad/ a pasta dish/ and an orange float for dessert. All delicious. Service was excellent. It appeared as if most of the other patrons were locals......all ages.

Now my favorite burger in the city. They nailed every single detail from the spot-on grilling technique to the soft-but-not-mushy bun to the best smoked bacon I have had in my life.
